I first found out about Fred Smoot’s Smack Energy Bar through a friend’s Facebook status. Because I am a huge Redskins fan, I had to find out more. I’m not usually a big fan of energy bars but I wanted to try these. When I first had them, I couldn’t believe how good they were. They didn’t taste really chewy and flavorless like Powerbars. I think any flavor you come up with will probably be as good as this one if you stick to the same techniques used. Fred Smoot is definitely one of my favorite Redskins players because of the intensity he plays with. He is able to talk “Smack” nonstop and not seem too cocky like a lot of NFL players. I was sad to see him go to Minnesota but I’m glad he’s back and better than ever. I wish they sold Smack Bars here at Virginia Tech so that all of my fellow Hokies could experience how good an energy bar can be! “Smack Bars are by far the best energy bars I’ve ever had. Come to Virginia Tech!!”
