A Stock Market that actually benefits its investors

There is the stock exchange of money, investments and goods. With loud and fast talking traders and brokers all on one floor making deals with each other on these goods, monies and investments and this uptempo scenario goes on until the bell rings at the end of the day.
In downtown Washington DC, on Sunday Septmber 21, 2008, in a lavish venue known as “The Avenue” a fast rewarding, similar trading, fast talking, high speed noisy afternoon of trading and networking occurred but the only goods were sneakers, sneakers and more sneakers.
If you thought you have seen a lot of sneakers in your lifetime, think again. Every single brand, customized, personalized, limited and whatsoever other word you could use to signify the value of what is simply just a shoe used for sporting activity, was present. It was not an environment where shoes were just bought, sold, or exchanged. This is a culture that exists right in our midst. Customized shoes ran anywhere from $50 to over $1,000. And these were being sold out. At this rate, the college dropout percentage just might rise with teenagers making this kind of money in just one day (We hope not!)
A large niche of young, diverse, talented and ambitious entrepreneurs, skaters, sneaker-heads or people that simply love the art of customizing great colorful looking sneakers and clothing, primarily sneakers, attended this event. A total of 790 individuals attended this great event and this number excludes the actual traders and creators that had their own stands for selling their products (sneakers, hats, clothing and such)
Smack Energy Bar and the beautiful marketing team could not resist such a culture and was present to give away hundreds of free Fred Smoot’s Smack Chocolate honey dipped energy bars to keep every attendees energy at its peak throughout the event.
