Shaun Suisham kick Real or Fake?
For those that haven’t seen it yet, here is the Shaun Suisham 110-yard “field goal” video clip that is stirring up questions all over the internet. “IS IT REAL OR FAKE?”

According to our buddy at Washington Post’s Sports Bog, Dan Steinberg, the video was done by the marketing department at WUSA-9, and was made to promote the Redskins’ preseason games, which are shown on WUSA’s air. “I think it was meant in the spirit of summer fun,” said WUSA sports director Brett Haber, whose division had nothing to do with the spot. Of course, the YouTube version seems to have purged the WUSA promo, which kind of defeats the purpose.

* Is it real? “Yes,” Haber said. “So is the Easter Bunny.”
Tons of viewers of this video flooded the WUSA marketing department with e-mails. Tons also believed the kick is real. Haber pointed out. “Draw whatever conclusions you want from that.”

It is definitely fake, but very amusing at the same time. I wish he could really do this.

Funny enough, I just watched this video few hrs ago. It’s so unclear / pixelated they could have easily edited it. So I thought it to be fake from jump

Ummm lets see if he can pull this off during the season…when all the redskins fans are actually watchin…that would be impressive

you slow short bus kids. He is using a tee. Its real. Kickers have been able to kick much farther off a tee then from someone holding it. Its real but not a real game type thing. CAtch up to speed.

You’re crazy if you actually think that is real. There is no way he kicked it 110 yards (actually more like 125 yards to clear the goal posts). I used to kick some in high school and it’s damn near impossible.
