How? Damon Dash could potentially become richer than Sean “Diddy” Combs, Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter and Russell Simmons sometime in the future?

How could this happen, especially after the fallout with Jay Z over the Roca Wear clothing line and his loss of ownership of RocaFella records. Lucky for Dash, he had a wife known to be the lovely Rachel Roy. Rachel Roy, a graduate of Columbia Union College in Takoma Park, Maryland, has been into fashion since she was a little girl but is now taking things way up a notch. Seems like she would hit the jackpot when the Jones Apparel Group goes through with the multibillion dollar contract to market her fashion line. To be precise on this amount, $4 Billion. “The company is a $4 billion dollar company-I guess we have the potential to make that kind of money,” he explained. “I just never been with a company that big. Being that it’s so outside the scope of what you think an urban individual would do, I’m real proud of that. I didn’t just do a deal with a company that’s exploiting my culture, I did something that took some respect and some very risky hustling-doing something that doesn’t usually happen.”

Dash now claims that his wife could become the female version of Ralph Lauren or Calvin Klein.

I guess Dash learned from his past mistakes and is now fully supporting his wife and her multibillion dollar contract. Hopefully Rachel wont let Dash have too much say because it already seems like he is counting his eggs before they hatch. Can you let the Woman sign the contract first, before you brand her the next Ralph Lauren? Those are big shoes to fill. But what if it the deal does go through, Damon Dash might just become much wealthier than the richest men in Hip Hop today.
